Naturally rich in vitamins and minerals, our Goat's Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base is a gentle, highly moisturizing formula that takes the guess work out of creating bar soaps. Fresh goat's milk is abundant in butterfat and Vitamin E, which gives this soap base a creamy, smooth texture, while Glycerin acts as a natural emollient that replenishes lost moisture in the skin. Free of artificial colors and fragrances, this formula possesses a gentle lather that is ideal for sensitive skin types.
Please note that the Goat's Milk Soap may not lather as well as other soap bases. This is due to a natural chemical process, and it does not undermine the effectiveness of the product.
Cutting and Melting: Begin by cutting the soap base into small, uniform cubes for even melting. Use a microwave or a double boiler to melt the soap, ensuring you monitor the process to prevent overheating.
Adding Fragrance: Once melted, incorporate your preferred fragrance oil into the soap base. Stir thoroughly to achieve an even distribution of fragrance, keeping in mind the recommended usage rates provided in our blog post.
Incorporating Additives: Customize your soap by adding skin-safe colorants, exfoliants, or other additives. Our Goat's Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base is versatile and accommodates a variety of ingredients for unique formulations.
Pouring into Molds: Carefully pour the melted soap into your chosen molds. This is where your creativity can shine; experiment with different shapes and sizes to craft personalized soap bars.
Cooling and Unmolding: Allow the soap to cool and solidify in the molds. Once completely set, gently unmold the soap bars. Ensure they have cooled and hardened sufficiently before handling.
Storage: Store your finished soap bars in a cool, dry place. Proper storage helps maintain the integrity of your creations, ensuring a longer shelf life.
Experimenting and Exploring: Don't hesitate to experiment with various fragrances, colors, and additives. Our blog post provides valuable insights and ideas for creating unique and aesthetically pleasing soap designs.
Safety Precautions: Follow standard safety precautions when handling soap-making ingredients. Use heat-resistant equipment, work in a well-ventilated area, and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure a safe and enjoyable soap-making experience.

Quick Start Guide
Important Note: Customers may notice some white film at the bottom of this soap base. This is due to the Titanium drop and it is not a quality issue. This is a very common issue with some of the opaque soap bases. The white pigment (titanium dioxide) can drop within the soap base as it cools. Simply cut the block of the soap base from top to bottom in an even cross-section, then re-melt, and mix. This way the white (titanium dioxide) pigment will be even throughout the finished soap bar.
Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour Bases contain water as part of the formula. So if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We would recommend fully wrapping the ENTIRE soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled--this should minimize/eliminate any shrinkage.
