INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In order to achieve a thorough mix of oils before adding them to a diffuser, add all the oils to a small glass bottle or vial.
  2. Roll the bottle between the hands to blend oils.
  3. Based on the manufacturer’s instructions, add the appropriate number of drops to an electric diffuser.
  4. To make a massage blend, simply mix all the essential oils with 4 tsp. of a carrier oil of personal preference.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add the essential oils to a 236 ml (8 fl. oz.) dark glass dropper bottle.
  2. Add the carrier oil to this blend.
  3. Cap the bottle and shake it to thoroughly blend all the ingredients.
  4. To use, add 3 droppers full of the blend into a warm running bath.
  5. Soak in the bath for as long as desired.
  6. Alternatively, 3 droppers full of this body oil can be applied to the body in the shower as a relaxing shower moisturizer.
  7. Store this blend in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

  4. Store the unused blend in a cool, dark place outside of the humid bathroom.

 

  1. LEMON OIL BATH SALT BLEND TO DETOXIFY

Use this blend to eliminate bodily toxins.

Lemon Essential Oil 10 drops
Grapefruit Essential Oil 10 drops
Basil Essential Oil 8 drops
Juniper Essential Oil 6 drops
Oregano Essential Oil 6 drops
Epsom Salt 1 cup
Baking Soda ¼ cup

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour Epsom Salt into a clean mixing bowl.
  2. Add Baking Soda to the salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the essential oils. Mix well.
  4. Spoon the final product into clean jars (such as canning or jam jars).
  5. When adding the salts to a warm bath, ensure complete dissolution in water to avoid slipping.
  6. Depending on the size of the bathtub, use between ¼ to ½ cup of this salt blend per bath.
  7. Relax and enjoy the relief from sore muscles and inflammation.
  8. To reduce the appearance of cellulite with this bath salt blend, simply massage the affected areas while soaking in the tub.

 

 

USING LEMON OIL IN COSMETICS (REDUCE BLEMISHES AND ENHANCE HAIR GROWTH)

  1. LEMON TONIC FOR OILY HAIR

Use this blend to balance the scalp’s oil production and to remove the look and feel of greasy hair.

Lemon Essential Oil 40 drops
Witch Hazel ½ cup
Water ½ cup

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a squeeze bottle, add all the ingredients.
  2. Cap the bottle and swirl it around to thoroughly blend together all ingredients.
  3. In the shower, wash oily hair as usual.
  4. After showering and while hair is still damp, apply the tonic by making a parting in the hair and rubbing the solution into the scalp with a cotton ball.
  5. Continue to make partings in the hair, and repeat the process until the entire scalp is covered in the tonic.
  6. Allow hair to air dry.

 

  1. LEMON AND LAVENDER LIP BALM TO RELIEVE AND PREVENT COLD SORES

Use this blend to soothe the discomfort of cold sores while actively preventing future sores from forming.

Ingredient Amount
Lemon Essential Oil 7 drops
Lavender Essential Oil 7 drops
Coconut Virgin Carrier Oil 4 Tbsp
Beeswax 3 Tbsp
Vitamin E Liquid 2 drops

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a small pot over medium low heat, stir together the Beeswax, Coconut Carrier Oil, and the Vitamin E liquid using a spoon or a long stick such as a chopstick.
  2. Once the oils have melted and blended together thoroughly, remove the pot from the heat and add in all the essential oils.
  3. Thoroughly whisk this blend.
  4. Before the blend hardens in the pot, quickly pour the blend into 2 or 3 metal lip balm tins.
  5. When the salve is cool to the touch, apply it to lips and cold sores.

 

  1. LEMON-HONEY FACIAL BLEND FOR ACNE AND LIGHTENING SCARS

Use this blend to soothe skin irritated by acne and to lighten dark spots and scars.

Ingredient Amount
Lemon Essential Oil 30 drops
Tea Tree Essential Oil 30 drops
Lavender Essential Oil 20 drops
Unsweetened Plain Yogurt 2 tsp
Raw Honey 3 tsp

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. First, add the essential oils to a 4 ml (0.15 fl. oz.) dark glass bottle to create an essential oil blend.
  2. Cap the bottle and shake it well to thoroughly blend together all the oils.
  3. In a bowl, add the yogurt and the honey, and thoroughly combine the mixture with a spoon.
  4. Stir in 5 drops of the essential oil blend.
  5. Using the fingers, scoop a generous amount of the facial blend and massage it onto the entire face, focusing especially on areas with blemishes and dark spots.
  6. Leave this facial mask on for 15 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

 

  1. LEMON OIL SERUM BLEND TO EVEN OUT THE SKIN TONE

Use this blend to lighten scars and even out hyperpigmentation.

Lemon Essential Oil 8 drops
Sandalwood Essential Oil 4 drops
Sweet Almond Oil (Raw, Unrefined Almond Oil) 30 ml (1 fl. oz.)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a 30 ml (1 fl. oz.) dark glass dropper bottle, combine all the ingredients.
  2. Cap the bottle and gently shake it or roll it between the palms to thoroughly blend together all the oils.
  3. To use: First, cleanse the skin. While skin is still damp, apply 4-5 drops of the serum to the affected areas and massage it into the skin to ensure absorption.

 

  1. LEMON AND OLIVE OIL HAIR TREATMENT BLEND FOR HAIR GROWTH

Use this blend to hydrate and condition hair of all types.

Ingredient Amount
Lemon Essential Oil 5 drops
Geranium Essential Oil 5 drops
Extra Virgin Olive Carrier Oil 6 Tbsp

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a small pot on the stove, heat the Olive Oil over low heat only until it is warm.
  2. When the Olive Oil has warmed up, remove it from the heat.
  3. Using a spoon, stir in the essential oils to thoroughly combine the mixture.
  4. To use, apply the oil to damp hair, combing it through from root to tip to ensure thorough coverage.
  5. Wrap the hair in a warm, damp towel for 1 hour.
  6. Shampoo the hair as usual, repeating the process for a second time, if the oil remains in the hair.
  7. To condition the hair, Apple Cider Vinegar is recommended.
  8. Allow hair to air dry.

 

  1. LEMON OIL EXFOLIATING SUGAR SCRUB FOR HEALTHY, REJUVENATED SKIN

Use this blend to remove dead skin cells and to promote the look of skin that is healthy and radiant.

Ingredient Amount
Lemon Essential Oil 15 drops
Coconut Virgin Carrier Oil (or Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oil suggested) ¼ cup
White Sugar 1 cup

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, warm the Coconut Oil for 30 seconds until melted.
  2. Add the sugar and the Lemon Essential Oil to the bowl.
  3. Using a spoon, mix the blend thoroughly until all ingredients are combined.
  4. To use: With the fingers, scoop a generous amount of the scrub (1 palmful) into the hands and massage the scrub onto wet skin in the shower, using a circular motion.
  5. Store the scrub in a 300 g (10 oz.) mason jar.
  6. This scrub can be used to exfoliate once or twice a week for smooth, glowing skin.

 

  1. LEMON OIL BODY BUTTER BLEND TO REDUCE THE APPEARANCE OF VARICOSE VEINS

Use this blend to boost circulation and reduce the appearance of enlarged, bumpy veins.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a bowl (of a stand/hand mixer), combine the Shea Butter, Olive Oil, and essential oils.
  2. Whip the mixture for 3 minutes until it is light and fluffy like a soft butter.
  3. Scoop the body butter into an air-tight glass container.
  4. For a firmer body butter, store the glass container in the refrigerator until ready to use.

 

  1. LEMON OIL DEODORANT BLEND

Use this blend to neutralize underarm body odors caused by bacteria in perspiration.

Ingredient Amount
Lemon Essential Oil 15 drops
Tea Tree Essential Oil 15 drops
Lavender Essential Oil 10 drops
Coconut Virgin Carrier Oil 1 Tbsp
Cornstarch 2 Tbsp
Shea Butter 60 g (2 oz.)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a double boiler over medium heat, melt together the Shea Butter and the Coconut Oil.
  2. Once they have melted together, remove the double boiler from the heat and add the Cornstarch and the essential oils.
  3. Pour the blend into a 120 g (4 oz.) glass jar.
  4. To use: With the fingers, scoop a quarter size amount into the hands and massage it into the underarms.

 

  1. LEMON AND COCONUT OIL FACE MASK BLEND TO BRIGHTEN SKIN

Use this blend to brighten the complexion.

Lemon Essential Oil 2-3 drops
Raw Honey 2 tsp
Coconut Virgin Carrier Oil 1 Tbsp

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a 230 ml (8 oz.) foamer bottle, combine all ingredients.
  2. Screw on the bottle lid, shake the bottle gently to blend all the ingredients.
  3. To use: Wash face as usual with this foaming face wash and enjoy soothing relief from irritation caused by acne.

For water to achieve the “pure” classification, it must have less than 10 PPM.

 

Distilled Water: This type of water can also be classified as pure water, as it has approximately 1 PPM. Distilled water is so called, because it undergoes the process of distillation. This involves boiling the water, collecting the steam (pure H2O), and condensing it back into water droplets. It does not have any bacteria and has very few contaminants.
