Tansy Blue Essential Oil
Tansy Blue Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves and flowers of the Tanacetum annuum L. grown in the Larache Province of Northern Morocco. Commonly regarded as Moroccan Chamomile, the harvest season for Tansy Blue Essential Oil spans from August to October, with a single annual harvest. The Tanacetum annuum flower thrives in warm Mediterranean climates with sandy soil. However, the ongoing drought in Northern Morocco has significantly impacted the crop size, leading to a 35% decrease in yield compared to last year. Despite lower cultivation quantities, foreign demand for Tansy Blue remains low, suggesting that any shortages are unlikely in the upcoming quarter.
Pine Scotch Essential Oil
Pine Scotch Essential Oil is steam distilled from the needles and twigs of the Pinus sylvestris, an evergreen tree grown in Hungary. The Pinus sylvestris is harvested multiple times a year, with the main harvest periods in autumn and spring. This hardy plant thrives in a variety of soil types, preferring moderately wet conditions but can endure almost any climate. The crop size remains stable compared to last year, with favorable growing conditions this season. Although the market demand for Pine Scotch Essential Oil has increased, suppliers are confident that they can meet customer needs without issue.
Clove Bud (Indonesia) Essential Oil
Clove Bud Essential Oil is steam distilled from the buds of the Syzygium aromaticum L, an evergreen tree grown in Indonesia. The harvest season for clove buds take place from June to September, with a single harvest per year. This crop is primarily grown in garden soil under ideal weather conditions that are typical of Indonesia and Madagascar, which includes an almost entirely tropical climate. The crop size fluctuates each year due to changing weather patterns, particularly the rainy season, which affects production. However, this year’s yield is expected to be higher than last year, indicating favorable growing conditions despite the variable weather. With consistent demand and a steady crop size, no shortages are expected in the foreseeable future, making it a stable option for bulk purchases during the harvest season.
Coffee Carrier Oil – Roasted
The roasted variety of Coffee Carrier Oil is cold pressed from the Coffea arabica L plant grown in Brazil, specifically grown in the states of São Paulo and Southern Minas Gerais. Harvested annually between June and August, Brazil is experiencing a significant increase in production, rising from 55.07 million to 58.81 million 60kg bags this year. Although the hot weather from November to February resulted in smaller bean sizes, the overall production remains high. The smaller bean size, however, has led to record-breaking prices due to market speculation. Despite this, there is no anticipated shortage of coffee for oil production. The yield for Coffee Carrier Oil remains consistent, though producers are adjusting their roasting techniques to maintain efficiency.
Wheat Germ Carrier Oil – RBDW
Wheat Germ Carrier Oil is derived from the Triticum aestivum plant using the solvent extraction method. Grown in China, the Triticum aestivum has a versatile growth cycle and can produce oil through both winter and spring wheat types. This year, excessive rainfall has caused the crop face challenges, affecting overall wheat production. Although wheat germ production has slightly decreased in yield (10-15% compared to last year), there is no expected shortage of wheat germ oil in the foreseeable future. The adaptable nature of wheat, which can be grown in diverse soil conditions ranging from plains to high altitudes, ensures a steady supply throughout the year.
