DESCRIPTION
Aniseed Essential Oil is derived from the small, aromatic fruits of the Pimpinella anisum plant grown in India. A member of the parsley family (Umbelliferae), this annual herb grows up to 60 cm in height, with leaves that range in shape from heart-shaped to delicate and feathery. The plant's fruits are distinctive, covered in short hairs, and contain two dark seeds with light ribs, which are the source of the oil’s potent and characteristic aroma.
Known for its sweet, spicy, and licorice-like scent, Aniseed Essential Oil is a staple in traditional medicine and aromatherapy due to its invigorating and comforting properties. Its versatility makes it a valuable addition to both aromatic blends and topical applications, offering benefits for the mind, body, and senses.
