DESCRIPTION
The essence of natural beeswax is distilled to its purest form in Beeswax Beads (White). BIeached and filtered to remove any impurities, then shaped into small pellets for easy use, Beeswax Beads (White) can be used in lotions, creams, balms, body butter, and even soaps. It provides body and stiffness to formulations and assist as an incomplete emulsifier or thickener.
These Beeswax Beads are 100% natural and refined through physical processes. The natural wax is melted and filtered through active carbon to remove its scent and color, which may vary from white to off-white. These beads are then used in formulations where a cream base or end product is fragrance-free and white, but to which color and fragrance can later be added.
For candle making, natural beeswax burns cleaner and longer than petroleum-based paraffin waxes. It does not smoke as with petroleum-based paraffin. Made of 100% pure refined beeswax, this slow-burning wax is preferred when making aromatherapy-grade candles.
DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE
- Illuminating Lotion: Mix 12 drops each of Cypress, Frankincense, and Lavender Essential Oils to make a rejuvenating facial blend that promotes a youthful glow. It’s important to use this oil cautiously and ensure proper dilution to prevent potential skin irritation.
- Steady-burning Candles: To make a natural aromatherapy beeswax candle, melt 1 pound (.45 kg) Pure Filtered Beeswax in a double boiler. Stir in ½ cup of a preferred carrier oil and pour .4 in (1 cm) of the wax blend into 3 @ 8 oz (240 ml) lidded mason jars. Insert a 6 inch (15 cm) cotton wick into each jar, securing it upright until the wax hardens, then fill the jars with the remaining wax blend, leaving approx. 1 inch (3 cm) of space at the top. Allow the candles to cool overnight, trim the wicks to ½ inch (1.5 cm), and light them for at least 2.5 hours for the best results. Place the jar in a saucepan with 1 inch (2.5 cm) of boiling water and stir until the ingredients have melted into a smooth blend.
