Product Details

Botanical Name: Moringa oleifera

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Processing Type: Refined

Obtained From: Seeds

Origin: India

Description: Moringa cosmetic grade oil is obtained from the seeds of the Moringa tree (Moringa oleifera) by cold pressing, refining, and standardizing with non-GMO vegetable oils to enhance their oxidation stability. The refining and standardization process helps remove undesirable aroma and color, and helps to enhance the shelf life of the oil. This renders the product suitable for formulating products in the cosmetic industry without interference from odor and color.

Color: Pale Yellow to Golden Yellow.

Aromatic Description: Typical and characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Common Uses: A popular beauty oil, Moringa Oil is high in Behenic Acid and vitamins, making it ideal in a wide range of cosmetic products such as creams, cleansers, and shampoos. Its rich emollience and easy absorption helps restore the natural luster of skin and hair, while its antioxidant-rich composition provides useful soothing and protective benefits. Moringa Oil is most often found in products that aim to condition, cleanse, or minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Consistency: Typical and characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: This oil absorbs easily into the skin and may leave a slightly glossy residue.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of up to 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended. Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the Best Before date.

Cautions: None known.

Storage: It is recommended that cold-pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using.
