DESCRIPTION

Do as the Italians do. Crafted along Italy’s Calabrian coast, this exquisite Bergamot Essential Oil comes from where most of the world’s finest Bergamot Oil is grown. This variety has been processed to remove bergaptene, ensuring it’s safe for use in skin and hair care without concern for phototoxicity after exposure to the sun. Bergamot is a staple in aromatherapy and is among the most popular essential oils used today for its effectiveness and wide variety of applications.

The Bergamot tree can reach up to four meters (approximately 13 feet) in height, is adorned with star-shaped flowers and smooth leaves and bears citrus fruit that resembles a cross between an orange and a grapefruit, but in a distinctive pear shape. The fruit ripens from green to yellow. The name “Bergamot” originates from the city of Bergamo in Lombardy, where this aromatic oil was first introduced to the market.

DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE

  • Premium Italian Skin Care: Apply Calabrian Bergamot Oil topically to help reduce the appearance of scars, balance oily skin, and promote even skin tone. Use at approximately 0.5-1% in skin care formulations. Prior to commercial manufacturing, conduct testing to ensure the product has the desired consistency and effects.
  • Citrus Escape: Bergamot Essential Oil is popular in aromatherapy for its soothing effects. Its citrusy scent creates a calming atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Diffuse or use in candles to enhance the ambiance. For quick and easy personal use, dab 2-3 drops onto a piece of fabric and take a deep breath to enjoy its exquisite scent.
  • Fresh and Inviting Spaces: Dilute 1-2 drops of Bergamot Oil with water and spritz around the home to naturally eliminate odors.
  • Gorgeous, Glossy Hair: Bergamot Oil enhances hair sheen, leaving behind a lovely light scent. Add a few drops to shampoo or blend with a carrier oil for scalp massages.
  • Bergamot Break: Used in massage oils, Bergamot Oil’s pleasant aroma helps to unwind tension. It refreshes and moisturizes skin without leaving a greasy feeling.
