DESCRIPTION

Everything’s coming up roses with Rosewood Essential Oil (Peru). Rosewood is an evergreen tree, considered endangered, found in parts of the tropical rainforest of South America. Our Rosewood Oil is cultivated in Peruvian plantations and is certified by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species. Rosewood Oil was traditionally used by Amazonian Indigenous Peoples for its aromatic properties and for promoting wellbeing. Today, it’s a wonderful addition to perfumery for its floral, rose-like scent, and in skin care for its rejuvenating properties. 

Native to South America, Rosewood trees grow up to 30 meters (about 98 feet) tall with slender crowns, leathery oval leaves, and clusters of dull red flowers.
