Our Sodium Bicarbonate is 100% pure, free from any additives or contaminants, and does not contain aluminum. It should not be confused with baking powder, which may include aluminum sulfate. Bath Fizzies: Combine 20-30% Sodium Bicarbonate with Citric Acid and your preferred essential oils. Mix thoroughly to ensure an even distribution of ingredients. Add a small amount of witch hazel or isopropyl alcohol to bind the mixture, then press into molds. Allow to dry completely before use.
Bath Soaks: Blend 10-15% Sodium Bicarbonate with Epsom salts, Dead Sea salts, and dried botanicals. Add a few drops of essential oils for fragrance. Package in resealable bags or jars for easy use.
Shower Scrubs: Mix 5-10% Sodium Bicarbonate with a carrier oil (such as coconut or jojoba oil) and a natural exfoliant like sugar or sea salt. Add essential oils for scent and therapeutic benefits.
Facial Cleansers and Masks: To enhance the cleansing and exfoliating properties of a mask, blend 1-3% Sodium Bicarbonate with ingredients such as clays, oils, and hydrosols to create a balanced and effective product.
