This country is the world's major producer of Lavender oil as well as one of the largest producers of Rose oil, most of which is obtained from the roses that are found in the Rose Valley. This area of land is in the region of Kazanlak where overcast, humid, and rainy conditions in May and June contribute to oil-bearing roses.
