Carvone

(Showing 3 of 3)
This constituent is most abundant in oils produced from the seeds of Caraway, Spearmint, and Dill. Plants produce this chemical to attract helpful insects. There are two varieties of Carvone that smell distinctly different – one has a smell that is similar to that of Spearmint leaves and the other has a smell similar to that of Caraway seeds.
