Essential Oils containing Thymol

Thymol: This constituent has the sweet, medicinal, and spicy scent of Thyme, providing the herb with its distinctive aroma. It acts as a Phenol but is less toxic, in part due to its diminished solubility. The difference between Thyme and Thymol is the molecular arrangement in the substances.
